Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer / Data Analyst to join our growing data team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and familiarity with Snowflake is a strong advantage. You will play a key role in building data pipelines, delivering analytical insights, and empowering data-driven decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage robust data pipelines and workflows for data integration, transformation, and loading.
  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize existing dashboards and Tableau workbooks for performance and usability.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Leverage Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytics when necessary.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure high data quality, integrity, and governance across all reporting layers.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to design scalable data solutions.
  • Work with cloud data platforms like Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics (good to have).


Requirements

  • Experience: 3–6 years of professional experience in data engineering or data analysis
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and perform data modelling.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau for visualisation and reporting.
  • Solid programming experience in Python for data processing and analysis.
  • Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and cloud data ecosystems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred / Good to have : 
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake or other similar platforms like Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Tableau Certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate).
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or BI project life cycles.
