Salesforce Specialist – Solution Engineering

The Solution Engineering team shapes Salesforce solutions that provide transformational experiences for Non-profit and Higher Education organizations. We engage deeply in discovery, craft solution architectures and build tailored demos that help clients visualise their future on the Salesforce platform.

As demand grows for cross-cloud solutions we’re expanding our team with a dedicated Salesforce SE Support Specialist. This role will be critical in supporting our Solution Engineers by creating, maintaining, and innovating demo environments and assets—all through declarative Salesforce tools. You’ll help us improve speed-to-demo, scale our IP and ensure we’re ready to meet client expectations with compelling demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and maintain Salesforce demo orgs across Non-profit Cloud, Education Cloud, and additional Salesforce products (e.g., Experience Cloud, Tableau, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Commerce Cloud, Agentforce).

  • Ensure demo environments are kept current with Salesforce seasonal releases and evolving platform capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain a seamless and functional demo experience.

  • Configure Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (e.g., Custom Objects, Fields, Flows, OmniStudio, App Builder).

  • Create reusable components and templates to support rapid demo development.

  • Install and configure AppExchange and additional Salesforce add-ons when required.

  • Prepare and manage realistic and scenario-based datasets aligned with non-profit and education use cases.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across environments for effective demonstrations.

  • Explore new Salesforce features and emerging products, including AI-driven capabilities and Data Cloud innovations.

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers to develop proof-of-concept demos and prototypes that reflect future-state architectures.

  • Document demo org configurations, component usage, data models, and standard operating procedures.

  • Help establish and refine best practices and processes for demo asset management.

  • Engage closely with Solution Engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality demo assets on time.

  • Actively contribute to planning sessions with insights to enhance solution storytelling.

  • Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives to drive innovation and collaboration across the team.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience in a consulting, implementation, or internal technical support role.

  • Strong expertise in Salesforce declarative configuration, including: Salesforce Flows and OmniStudio, Lightning App Builder, Page Layouts, and Custom Metadata, Experience Cloud site setup and customization, User management and security configuration (Profiles, Permission Sets).

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, especially within Non-profit and Education Cloud contexts.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and basic data transformation techniques.

  • Exposure to additional Salesforce products such as Tableau, Data Cloud, Commerce Cloud, or MuleSoft is preferred.

  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, including product releases and roadmap.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a collaborative, remote environment.

  • Awareness of non-profit and higher education organizational structures and use cases is a plus.

  • Experience with emerging Salesforce capabilities (AI/Einstein, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Growth).

  • Ability to deliver scalable and reusable components to meet evolving business and demo needs.
